Aesop Queer Library returns to New York for its sixth year from June 26–28 at Aesop Nolita.

The brand’s annual literary initiative celebrates LGBTQIA2S+ voices through complimentary books by queer authors and the transformation of its stores into welcoming community library spaces. Having distributed more than 115,000 books globally, the initiative returns this year in partnership with the ACLU Foundation.

The 2026 edition explores writing that centers on the queer body, highlighting literature’s ability to challenge assumptions, foster connection, amplify underrepresented perspectives, and bring greater visibility to stories too often overlooked.
Visitors are invited to stop by during store hours to browse the collection and take home a complimentary book.

Select stores have cleared their shelves to make way for books, while others house a dedicated Reading Room—either way, you are invited to browse the selection and choose a complimentary tome to take home.
