Manifesting Marilyn: The Making of an Icon at Genesis House
To celebrate the centennial of the cinematic icon, Marilyn: The Making of an Icon is a major immersive exhibition presented in New York City. Located at Genesis House.
Rather than revisiting the familiar mythology surrounding Marilyn Monroe, the exhibition explores a more unexpected side of her story: reader, thinker, strategist, dreamer, and architect of her own becoming.
At the center of the experience is a recreation of Marilyn Monroe’s personal library, alongside immersive spaces including a private office and a vanity experience reframing glamour as strategy.
The exhibition is open Tuesday to Sunday, 11AM–7PM, now through September 6. Genesis House Restaurant guests have access to extended hours after completing their restaurant experience.

Hot Dog: The Second Serving in Times Square
Two years after its initial staging, the world’s largest hot dog (sculpture) returns to Times Square on the occasion of the nation’s semiquincentennial to offer a renewed grandiose portrait of the United States at 250.
The 65-foot-long sculpture comes back not as a replica of its former self, but as an altered monument with surprise additions amid a time where the political and cultural climate is increasingly shaped by spectacle and violence. Bursting with American spectacle, patriotism, and national mythology, Hot Dog: The Second Serving (2026) is by Brooklyn-based artists Jen Catron and Paul Outlaw.
Complete with an oversized bun, a classic frankfurter, and a sweeping ribbon of yellow mustard, the satirical monument asks for national reflection—on where we’ve been, and where we’re headed.
Thai SELECT Playground
On Tuesday, July 21, the Thai SELECT Festival New York 2026 returns with a new theme "Thai SELECT Playground," transforming one of the city's historic landmarks into a celebration of authentic Thai cuisine, culture and entertainment. This year's festival invites guests to "Play with Thai Flavors" through cultural performances, live entertainment and interactive experiences, including a BINGO activity featuring Thai actors Mile Phakphum Romsaithong and Apo Nattawin Wattanagitiphat, who will make appearances throughout the day.

The festival is free to attend. Food and drinks will be available for purchase directly from 15 Thai SELECT-certified restaurants, which will serve a variety of dishes showcasing Thailand's diverse flavors. The DailyPay Diner
On July 22 and 23, DailyPay will transform Remedy Diner on the Lower East Side into The DailyPay Diner, a fully immersive old school diner experience, complete with vintage decor, classic diner fare and 1930s prices.
The two-day pop-up is built around a simple question: if nearly everything in life happens instantly, from ordering dinner to hailing a ride or streaming entertainment, why are so many people still getting paid on a schedule created in the 1930s?
While the way we live has evolved dramatically, most workers still wait two weeks or more to access money they’ve already earned. Guests will step back into the era when the modern paycheck was born and experience just how much the world has changed—and how little pay has.
The experience will be open to the public via reservation, with guests able to book specific time slots via OpenTable.
