New York Times Games 1,000th Connections x Matchaful

To celebrate the 1,000th edition of Connections (publishing March 7), New York Times Games is partnering with Matchaful for a limited-time morning collaboration across its NYC locations.

From March 2-7th during the morning rush of 8-11AM., anyone who shows they’ve completed that day’s Connections puzzle can receive a complimentary, limited-edition four-layer drink (Purple First) inspired by the game’s signature color-coded solve.

The drink mirrors the four-tier structure players know well, visually layered in purple, blue, green, and yellow, translating the puzzle’s design into a morning ritual moment. The limited-edition beverage will be available while supplies last each day.

The collaboration was inspired by how players actually engage with the game: Connections’ most popular solve window is between 9-11AM making it a staple of many people’s coffee (or matcha) routines.

In addition to the Matchaful collaboration, the milestone includes two new in-game badges:

  • 1,000th Puzzle Challenge Badge – awarded to players who complete Puzzle #1000

  • 1,000 Connections Badge – awarded to players who have completed 1,000 total puzzles

The layers of flavors are:

  • Purple - Purple Sweet Potato, Taro, Maple, Coconut Milk

  • Blue - Blue Spirulina, Maple, Almond Cream

  • Green - Grape, 3g Kiwami Super Ceremonial Matcha, Almond Cream

  • Yellow - Pineapple, Maple.

Celebrate International Women’s Day and enjoy a conversation & cocktails with female leaders.

This International Women’s Day, join an intimate gathering of leaders, creators, and founders who chose action even when the outcome was uncertain.

For generations, women have been left outside the rooms where decisions shape industries and economies. Progress does not come from comfort. It comes from courage.

Some risked their careers.
Some risked their voices.
Some risked being the first in the room, or the only one.

At the current pace, global gender equality could take 132 years. We believe that timeline must change.

This is more than a panel.
This is a commitment to move forward together.

Be risk takers.
Be change makers.
Be the future.
Let’s build a world that works for women.

60 Risk takers × Rule breakers × Rebuilders

Whitney Biennial 2026

  • 99 Gansevoort Street New York, NY, 10014 United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

The eighty-second edition of the Whitney Biennial—the longest-running survey of contemporary art in the United States—features work of 56 artists, duos, and collectives that reflects the current moment and examines various forms of relationality, including interspecies kinships, familial relations, geopolitical entanglements, technological affinities, shared mythologies, and infrastructural supports.

This is the first Biennial with the Whitney’s expanded free access programs: free for anyone 25 and under, every day, free Friday Nights, and Second Sundays.

Whitney Biennial 2026 offers a vivid atmospheric survey of contemporary American art shaped by a moment of profound transition. Rather than offering a definitive answer to life today, this Whitney Biennial foregrounds mood and texture, inviting visitors into environments that evoke tension, tenderness, humor, and unease. Together, the works capture the complexity of the present and propose imaginative, unruly, and unexpected forms of coexistence.

REMINDERS OF HIM - NY Advance Screening

REMINDERS OF HIM is a romantic drama coming to theaters this March, based on Colleen Hoover's best-selling novel. The film stars Tyriq Withers (from HIM) and Maika Monroe!

The advance NY screening will take place on Tuesday, March 10th at Regal Union Square starting at 7:00PM and the NYC for FREE community is invited! Use the link below to sign up for a free pass, first come first serve.

REMINDERS OF HIM

Cast: Maika Monroe, Tyriq Withers, Rudy Pankow, Lainey Wilson, with Lauren Graham and Bradley Whitford. Based on the novel by Colleen Hoover

There was before you and there was during you. For some reason, I never thought there would be an after you.

The literary phenomenon from #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover becomes a transformative feature film about motherhood, forgiveness and the power of love to overcome even the worst mistake.

After a perfect outing with her boyfriend, Kenna (Maika Monroe; The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, Longlegs) makes an unbearable mistake that sends her to prison. Seven years later, Kenna returns to her hometown in Wyoming, hoping to rebuild her life and earn the chance to reunite with her young daughter, Diem, whom she has never known.

When Diem’s custodial grandparents adamantly refuse Kenna’s attempts to see her daughter, Kenna discovers unexpected compassion, and then something truer and deeper, with former NFL player and local bar owner Ledger (Tyriq Withers; HIM, I Know What You Did Last Summer). As their secret romance develops, so do the dangers for both of them, leading Kenna toward heartbreak and, ultimately, the hope for a second chance.

The film’s cast includes screen legends Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) and three-time Emmy winner Bradley Whitford (Get Out, The Handmaid’s Tale) as Diem’s grandparents, Grace and Patrick; Rudy Pankow (Outer Banks, Uncharted) as Scotty, Diem’s father; and Grammy winner and country music sensation Lainey Wilson (Yellowstone) as Kenna’s friend and coworker, Amy.

First published in 2022, Reminders of Him has sold more than 6 million copies in the United States and has been translated into 45 languages. Hoover is the bestselling author of numerous blockbuster novels, including It Ends with Us, It Starts with Us,  Layla, Heart Bones, Confess and Verity.

David N. Dinkins Municipal Building Public Tours

The tallest tower of the David N. Dinkins Municipal Building will be opened for entirely free public tours for the first time this summer. Beginning in June, the public will be able to book tours led by DCAS staff through an online portal, with groups of six people departing from the NYC CityStore in the base of the building.

This access is enabled by a $6 million improvement project on the building, including repairing the building’s historic cupola, installing glass barriers to ensure visitors can safely enjoy the panoramic views of the city, and renovating the rotunda landing to make it safe and inviting to the public.

Mayor Mamdani made the announcement on the second day of Black History Month, in honor of the city’s first Black mayor. The David N. Dinkins Municipal Building is one of the largest government office buildings in the world.

“For the first time ever, New Yorkers and visitors alike will experience the sweeping views of the city’s skyline perched atop the pinnacle of our city’s government operations, 1 Centre Street," said DCAS Commissioner Yume Kitasei. “Upon its completion, this project will increase public access to an iconic landmark and create new ways to experience New York City and preserve our historical building's infrastructure for future generations.”

The David N. Dinkins Municipal Building is home to over 2,000 employees. The building was made a New York City landmark in 1966, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and renamed after Mayor David N. Dinkins in 2015.
