- Download our app on iPhone or Android
- Engage with us in other related ways, including any sales, marketing, or events
Questions or concerns? Reading this Privacy Notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. We are responsible for making decisions about how your personal information is processed. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have any questions or concerns, please contact us at nyc@nycforfree.co.
1. What Information Do We Collect?
Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, which may include your name, email address, phone number, username, and birthday.
Information collected automatically. We automatically collect device and usage information when you visit our Services — IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, and general usage data (log/usage data, device data). This does not reveal your identity directly but is used for security, operation, and analytics.
Precise location data. Where you enable location services on your device, we may collect precise geolocation data. You can opt out at any time by disabling location permissions in your device settings; note that some features may not work without it. Because precise geolocation is treated as sensitive personal information under California and other state laws, we only collect it with your device-level permission (see Section 10).
Information we collect from third parties. Unlike a purely first-party site, our Services run advertising through third-party partners, and those partners share certain information with us as part of that relationship — for example, device or browser identifiers exchanged with our advertising and analytics partners for the purpose of delivering, measuring, and improving ads shown on our Services (see the named partners in Section 3 and the Advertising disclosure in Section 13). We do not otherwise purchase or receive data sets about you from third parties.
Google API. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2. How Do We Process Your Information?
We process your information to: deliver and improve the Services; respond to inquiries and provide support; send administrative information; send marketing communications (opt-out available at any time); deliver targeted advertising; evaluate and improve our Services and campaigns; and identify usage trends.
3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?
We share information with the following categories of third parties who perform services on our behalf:
-Raptive (CMI Marketing, Inc., d/b/a Raptive): Advertising placement and monetization
-Google Analytics: Site traffic and usage analytics
-Data storage / hosting providers: Storing and processing site and account data
-Sales & marketing tools: Email newsletter delivery, CRM
We may also share information in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or financing).
See Section 13 for our advertising partners' own privacy disclosures.
4. What Is Our Stance on Third-Party Websites?
The Services may link to third-party websites or contain third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party not affiliated with us. Review their policies directly.
5. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (web beacons, pixels) to operate the Services, remember preferences, and support analytics and advertising. We permit our advertising partner Raptive and Google Analytics to use tracking technologies on our Services for analytics and to tailor ads to your interests. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. To opt out of the sale/sharing of your information used for targeted advertising, see Section 10.

6. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this Notice, unless a longer period is required by law. When there's no ongoing business need, we delete or anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.
7. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or market to data from children under 18. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or the parent/guardian of a minor dependent consenting to their use. If we learn we've collected data from a user under 18, we will deactivate the account and delete the data. If you believe we've collected data from a child under 18, contact us at nyc@nycforfree.co.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
8. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
You can withdraw consent, opt out of marketing communications (unsubscribe link in every email), and manage cookies through your browser settings at any time. Contact nyc@nycforfree.co with questions about your privacy rights.
9. Automated Opt-Out Signals
We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and other legally recognized automated opt-out mechanisms. Where required under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws in other states, a GPC signal detected from your browser is treated as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information and targeted advertising, as described in Section 10.
