Faena Art is proud to announce the New York City debut of Amaze, Vogue, Ascend, Flourish — a vibrant, immersive roller rink art installation open to the public on October 11 and 12 at 500A West 18th Street and 10th Avenue.

Commissioned by Faena Art and generously supported by Chase Sapphire Reserve, this two-day cultural celebration will be free and open to the public, featuring complimentary skate rentals, live performances, daily DJ sets, and culinary pop-ups, creating an unforgettable open-air experience in the heart of Chelsea.

Created by acclaimed artist collective assume vivid astro focus (avaf), Amaze, Vogue, Ascend, Flourish brings art into the public realm and celebrates the power of community through color, sound, and motion. Originally conceived by avaf in 2004 as a tribute to the Central Park Dance Skaters Association, the beloved project returns in a completely reimagined form — bursting with energy, movement, and vibrant creativity.

Inspired by the legendary spirit of The Roxy, the installation transforms the traditional roller rink into a dynamic cultural arena. More than just a place to skate, Amaze, Vogue, Ascend, Flourish draws on New York City’s ever-evolving creative spirit, celebrating the artists, dancers, designers, and dreamers who have long defined the soul of Chelsea and the city as a whole.
