The world’s biggest sporting event—the FIFA World Cup—is returning to North America in 2026 (June 11–July 19), and it’s set to be the most expansive, most exciting tournament in sports history. With more teams, more matches, and more global superstars, the 2026 World Cup will be a once-in-a-generation cultural moment.

To mark the one-year countdown, FOX Sports is celebrating with coast-to-coast ice cream truck activations in New York City (FOX Plaza) and Los Angeles (Venice Beach) from 11am-5pm local time featuring free ice cream with FOX Sports On Air talent Alexi Lalas, and Carli Lloyd in New York and other surprises to celebrate the largest sporting event in the world with soccer’s biggest fans.

Soccer fans, passersby, and summer-loving New Yorkers are invited to stop by FOX Plaza for a scoop, a photo op, and a sweet kickoff to the countdown.
