To celebrate the premiere of The Lowdown, FX is popping up at Brooklyn Diner to bring the series’ gritty, small-town Americana to the heart of Times Square.

Fans are invited to take a seat and fuel up on complimentary pie and coffee – specialties of Sweet Emily’s, the favorite hangout spot of the series’ Lee Raybon (Ethan Hawke). This activation lets New Yorkers grab a treat and get a taste of FX’s The Lowdown.

Later that evening, join acclaimed authors, Christopher Bollen and Megha Majumdar, for a compelling conversation that bridges the literary and on-screen worlds at Housing Works Bookstore.

WHAT: Fans of mystery, crime and noir are invited to an intimate special event celebrating FX’s The Lowdown at Housing Works Bookstore. Join acclaimed authors, Christopher Bollen and Megha Majumdar, for a compelling conversation that bridges the literary and on-screen worlds - with readings from select titles that inspire noir storytelling and celebrate the tale of Lee Raybon (Ethan Hawke), a truth-seeking bookstore owner peeling back the dark layers of small-town corruption.
