On Halloween (Friday, October 31), HBO Max is set to bring a chilling experience to New York City. Teaming up with the acclaimed artisans behind new HBO Original Series IT: WELCOME TO DERRY and Warner Bros. Pictures’ THE CONJURING and THE NUN, the public is invited to witness an unforgettable transformation to kick off their Halloween festivities.
At 45 Grand Street, a window display will feature two participants undergoing a full 360° makeover - from intricate prosthetics and detailed makeup to complete wardrobe styling - all while unsuspecting passersby's will be able to watch the horror unfold. Expect to see one participant morph into PENNYWISE from IT: WELCOME TO DERRY, and the other take on the frightening appearance of THE NUN from THE CONJURING and THE NUN.
When the looks are complete, these haunting figures will step out into the West Village to deliver Halloween chills throughout the streets.
