On Sunday (November 16) & Monday (November 17), there will be a Jewish Book Month 100 Pop Up Bookstore that is free and open to the public.

In honor of 100 years of Jewish Book Month,  81 Hes­ter Street will transform into a cozy Jew­ish book­store. On Sunday & Monday, Jew­ish Book Coun­cil is giv­ing away 1,000 free Jew­ish books, hot choco­late, and Jew­ish lit­er­ary good­ies. Stop by to join in the cel­e­bra­tion of Jew­ish Book Month! 

Here’s a breakdown of programming:

Sun­day, Novem­ber 16 
*A special ear­ly bird book give­away with bagels from Russ & Daugh­ters: We have a lim­it­ed num­ber of copies of Russ & Daugh­ters: 100 Years of Appe­tiz­ing (plus bagels) to give away plus Niki Russ Fed­er­man will be there to sign them from 10 AM — 11 AM!

• 10:00 AM — 11:00 AM: PJ Library 

• 1:00 AM — 12:00 PM: Artists Against Anti­semitism 

• 12:00 PM — 1:00 PM: Havurah/Verklempt!

• 1:00 PM — 2:00 PM: The Five Book Pod­cast

• 2:00 PM — 3:00 PM: Gol­da

• 4:00 PM — 5:00 PM: Peo­ple Jew Wan­na Know Pod­cast

Booksign­ings on Sun­day are from 12 PM — 4 PM with authors Talia Benamy, Zib­by Owens, Richard Michel­son, and Esther Chehebar.
