Sail4th 250 Harbor Spectacle: The United States 250th birthday is this year and the Sail4th 250 event is completely taking over New York Harbor from July 3 through July 9. The festivities officially begin on July 3 with an incredible parade of Class B tall ships sailing down the East River. On the morning of July 4, the main event hits the water as more than 30 massive Class A tall ships and over 40 international naval vessels sail under the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge .
