Our favorite sparkle-on-the-lawn tradition is back!!
The Roosevelt Island Tree Lighting Ceremony brings the community together for music, treats, and that first big glow of the season at Meditation Lawn. This year’s ceremony is set for Friday, December 5, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Meditation Lawn.
What to expect
Countdown and lighting: The island tree lights up after the community countdown.
Performances and music: Featuring live music and holiday performances by community groups.
Giveaways and raffles: Expect gift and food giveaways and raffle prizes while supplies last.
