In honor of the National Puerto Rican Day Parade, Ron del Barrilito, Puerto Rico’s oldest and finest rum, is bringing a taste of Old San Juan to Midtown with a special one-day-only activation at Lolita.

Located right on the NYC Puerto Rican Day parade route in Midtown, this open-to-the-public celebration will run from 12PM to 5PM, featuring signature rum cocktails like the Ron del Barrilito Daiquiri, Piña Colada, and a special creation from a guest mixologist flown in from Puerto Rico. He hails from Lost Paradise and is part of the award-winning team behind La Factoría, ranked among the world’s best bars. A live DJ set will keep the energy high as cocktails flow and food keeps coming.

Later that evening, they will be continuing the celebration with an afterparty at Barely Disfigured, a sultry Brooklyn speakeasy, starting at 7 PM and going late. Expect a backyard roasted lechón collab with a local chef, Barrilito-branded dominoes, and another DJ set to keep the vibes going. 

These events are free and open to the public but cocktails are available for purchase.
