On July 22 and 23, DailyPay will transform Remedy Diner on the Lower East Side into The DailyPay Diner, a fully immersive old school diner experience, complete with vintage decor, classic diner fare and 1930s prices. 

The two-day pop-up is built around a simple question: if nearly everything in life happens instantly, from ordering dinner to hailing a ride or streaming entertainment, why are so many people still getting paid on a schedule created in the 1930s?

While the way we live has evolved dramatically, most workers still wait two weeks or more to access money they’ve already earned. Guests will step back into the era when the modern paycheck was born and experience just how much the world has changed—and how little pay has. 

The experience will be open to the public via reservation, with guests able to book specific time slots via OpenTable.
