The Central Park Conservancy has announced that the new Davis Center at the Harlem Meer, will be opening to the public on Saturday, April 26..
The Central Park Conservancy in partnership with NYC Parks is redeveloping the Lasker Rink and Pool site as a state-of-the-art facility. The new Davis Center will be uniquely sited within the context of a restored and enhanced landscape and will continue to accommodate recreational and lap swimming and support a robust skating and hockey program. In addition, it will be open year-round for new community-focused programming.
Join us from 12:00–4:00 pm to celebrate the Davis Center at our vibrant community festival. This afternoon event will introduce our spring Harlem Oval programming, highlight opportunities to engage with local organizations, and honor the leaders and community members who helped make this restored space possible.
Enjoy live music, arts and crafts for all ages, lawn games, yoga, dance, and guided tours to learn more about the new venue—a hub for connection, creativity, and collaboration.
The Davis Center is located at the northern end of the park on the East Side between 106th and 108th.
