Tribeca Festival is hosting a series of free screenings on the outdoor screen in the Public Square and Gardens at Hudson Yards. With Tribeca at 25: Celebrating the Stories We Share, they’ll revisit landmark premieres, audience favorites, and breakthrough discoveries that have defined Tribeca over the past quarter century.

Beginning June 4, join them as we play Tribeca highlights including directorial debuts from Damien Chazelle (TF ‘09) and Nia DaCosta (TF ‘18) — plus, Tomas Alfredson’s Let the Right One In (TF ‘08), David Gelb’s Jiro Dreams of Sushi (TF ‘11), and more.

They will also showcase a selection of Shorts: Ben Proudfoot’s Oscar®-winning The Queen of Basketball (TF ‘21), Tusk’s Ripe! (TF ‘24), and Julia Aks and Steve Pinder’s Oscar®-nominated Jane Austen’s Period Drama (TF ‘24).

Several screenings will be followed by conversations with the filmmakers behind them, including directors Nia DaCosta, David Gelb, Frédéric Tcheng, Ani Simon-Kennedy; producers Jasmine McGlade, Gabrielle Nadig, Kishori Rajan; and cinematographer Cailin Yatsko.
