Pride 2025
June is Pride Month, a month to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. There are so many fun (& free!) events in NYC celebrating Pride, with most happening the last week in June when the Pride March is.
NYC Pride March & Parade (June 29): The NYC Pride March is among the largest LGBTQIA+ civil rights demonstrations in the world. NYC Pride’s theme for 2025 - “Rise Up: Pride in Protest” - honors the legacy of the very first Pride March in 1970, which commemorated the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
PrideFest Street Fair & Performances (June 29): PrideFest is thrilled to be BACK for our annual LGBTQIA+ street fair that combines exhibitors, food, and activities for a day of fun and celebration in the name of equality.
Pride on the Plaza Silent Disco (June 26) + Oculus Lighting (June 26 - 29)
Brookfield Place Pride Concerts (June 25): Celebrate love and self-expression with live music and DJ sets on June 4 and 25 at Portside, out on the waterfront at Brookfield Place. Lunchtime DJ sets also celebrate Filipino culture in connection with Risa Puno’s art installation, Common Picnic: Halo-Halo Edition.
Aesop Queer Library (June 26 - 29): Founded on a belief in the transformative power of queer storytelling, the Aesop Queer Library returns to select stores across the US and Canada, making it's New York stop at Rockefeller Center. The ephemeral installation offers complimentary books by LGBTQIA2S+ authors and allies, no purchase required.
Pride on the High Line: A United Front (June 26)
Lincoln Center Stud Country (June 26): Stud Country is born from the legacy of queer dance spaces and honors the rich history of LGBTQIA+ cowboy culture. Best friends Sean Monaghan and Bailey Salisbury created the “Queer Church of Line Dance” as a safe space for connected community and partner dancing. They believe line dancing should be easy, fun and accessible to everyone, so all ages, body types and skill levels are welcome!
Whitney Free Friday w/ New York City Gay Men’s Chorus (June 27): Join us on this Free Friday Night to hear choral pieces that embody the spirit of Pride, joy, and community. Prepare to be moved and inspired by performances echoing through the galleries of the Whitney.
Youth Pride at the Seaport (June 28): Youth Pride is a block party-style, queer-affirming celebration of LGBTQIA+ youth and their families and allies - provides a safe space for empowerment, education and building community.
Stonewall Day Celebration (June 28): Honor the Stonewall legacy and celebrate Stonewall Day during NYC Pride Weekend at the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center!
NYC Dyke March (June 28): This year the NYC Dyke March will step off from Bryant Park at 5pm on June 28, 2025.
Pride Block Printing at King Manor Museum (June 28): Join us this Pride Month on June 28th from 1-4 PM for a Revolutionary Activity! Printing posters was essential for mobilizing patriots during the Revolution. Now, almost 250 years later, we will be block printing to create posters that can be used at Pride Marches and beyond!
Harlem Pride Celebration (June 28)
Kiehl’s Love & Pride Never Fade (June 28): Come join us for a night of celebration and unity at Kiehls Hells Kitchen! This event is all about spreading love and embracing pride. Whether you're part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, everyone is welcome to attend. Get ready for a day filled with music, dancing, and most importantly, love. Guest star presence and refreshments
