Winter nights in New York don’t usually come with much in the way of spectacle but tonight, the sky over Brooklyn is about to do some heavy lifting.

At 6:15pm, a fleet of 300 synchronized drones will take over the airspace above the Greenpoint waterfront, staging a 12-minute light show that marries an art installation with a civic moment. The event is presented by Marriott Bonvoy and produced in partnership with Children’s Miracle Network.
