Museum on Wheels: Celebrate Carnival at Cortelyou Library!
On June 4, join the Brooklyn Museum's Museum on Wheels for a block party to celebrate Caribbean American Heritage Month with artists, storytellers, and stilt walkers! All ages are welcome to enjoy Carnival-inspired art-making, performances, music, and tasty giveaways from Island Pops.
Portrait Experience – "Inside Out: I See You"
Celebrate the 15th birthday of the world’s largest participatory art initiative. “Inside Out Project,” by the artist JR, is an interactive portraiture experience that explores visibility, identity, and collective action. Step inside the photo booth and contribute to a living public artwork that will be displayed at Cortelyou Library.
