The Every Women Biennial is the world’s largest female and non-binary art biennial.

The Biennial engages artists, through a democratic open call, to cross-pollinate with each other from a variety of mediums, generations, and racial and ethnic backgrounds.

The salon-style exhibition features painting, photography, installation, sculpture, video art, textile, and multimedia works, activated by performance, dance, music, poetry readings, theater, and film.

PUNK-ROCK REVIVAL OF THE CARNIVALESQUE: A century ago, movements like Cabaret, Dada, and Surrealism were artists’ responses to social and political unrest. One hundred years later, we ask: What are we building in a troubled world that’s moving faster than we can grasp?

Our answer? SPECTALiA. In an age of distracting algorithms and spectacular seduction, we’re blurring binaries—of gender, canvas and screen, sense and nonsense.

Here, joy becomes our most subversive act. This isn’t just a show…it’s a world-building spell. Join us.

You are welcome to attend the Every Woman Biennial Kickoff Flashmob and Performance at 1PM! This event will be 20-30 minutes and slightly different than a normal 5 minute flashmob. There will be a performance by Kinesis Project dance theatre, then we will begin adding in mobbers walking, freestyling and framing the action as we build toward a proper flashmob to Lady Gaga's Edge of Glory, ending with more freestyling and fun.
