May 28th is National Burger Day! Fat Ronnie’s Burger Bar will be giving away FREE signature burgers to the first 100 guests in line beginning at 5PM.
Originally founded on Martha’s Vineyard by Reynaldo “Ronnie” Faust, Fat Ronnie’s recently opened its first New York location, bringing its beloved thick Angus beef burgers and family recipes to the city. Ronnie, a New York native, grew up working alongside his grandmother, Maxine Faust – widely recognized as the country’s first Black female union butcher – at family-run restaurants in Harlem, where many of the recipes and techniques behind Fat Ronnie’s were first developed.
Fat Ronnie’s is located at 303 6th Avenue (at Carmine) in the West Village. Burgers are available on a first-come, first-served basis from 5PM - 9PM, or until supplies last.
