Fleet Week 2025


Fleet Week New York is now in its 37th year! The week-long event will include a variety of public military demonstrations. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the citizens of New York — and the surrounding tri-state area — to meet Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today’s maritime services.


Fleet Week New York 2025 Events Open to the Public
***Ships located in Manhattan at Pier 88 and 90 will ONLY be available for public visitation on Friday and Saturday, May 23-24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Public ship tours in Staten Island will be available on May 22-26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.***
 
Wednesday, May 21
Silent Drill Platoon performance in Times Square
Father Duffy Square, Times Square, 7th Ave. and West 47th St., New York, NY 10036
6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Marine Corps Silent Drill Team performs for the public.
 
Thursday, May 22
Public Ship Tours at Staten Island
Staten Island Homeport Pier
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) from Norfolk, Virginia and Bay-class cutter USCGC Sturgeon Bay (WTGB 109) from Bayonne, New Jersey. Visit with crew members and learn about your sea services. Military displays will also be present for viewing.
 
Manhattan, Intrepid Museum
Pier 86
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ship public tours, five U.S. Naval Academy YPs from Annapolis, Maryland. Visit with Midshipmen and learn about your sea services.

Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) from Norfolk, Virginia and Bay-class cutter USCGC Sturgeon Bay (WTGB 109) from Bayonne, New Jersey will be open for free tours. Visit with crew members and learn about your sea services.
 
Dive Tank in Times Square
Military Island, 43-44 St Plaza, Times Square
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Navy diving demonstrations will be held in a dive tank within Times Square.
 
Coast Guard Silent Drill Team and Navy Ceremonial Guard performs in Times Square
Military Island, 43-44 St Plaza, Times Square
6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The Coast Guard Silent Drill Team and Navy Ceremonial Guard will perform in Times Square, Military Island. Performances will occur in 30 min. increments.
 
Friday, May 23

Eisenhower Park Aviation Event
Cricket Field 11, Parking Lot 2 at Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, NY
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Come out to see Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard helicopters land at Cricket Field 11, near parking lot 2, and meet the flight crews. Event will also have an EOD fast rope demonstration, performances by Navy Band Northeast and Navy Ceremonial Guard, and military displays to view.
 
Dive Tank in Times Square

Sea-service diving demonstrations will be held in a dive tank within Times Square.
 
U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demo
In the water off Staten Island Homeport Pier
12 to 12:30 p.m.
Coast Guard will conduct a search and rescue demonstration in the water off of the Staten Island Homeport Pier.
 
Band Concert in Times Square

7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Maspeth Memorial Day Parade

The United Veterans and Fraternal Organizations of Maspeth hosts an annual community parade to recognize service members. This year’s theme is: “Let Freedom Ring”. Service members will walk in the parade and participate in small ceremony.
 
Forest Hills Memorial Day Weekend Parade – American Legion Post 1424
107-15 Metropolitan Avenue, Forest Hills, NY 11375
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Forest Hills American Legion hosts an annual Memorial Day Weekend Parade to recognize the sacrifice of fallen military members and celebrate local community heroes. Service members will walk in the parade from the American Legion Post to Colonel Remsen Cemetery on Metropolitan Avenue; March kicks off in front of the Post building.
 
Fleet Week at Liberty State Park

12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Navy and Marine Corps helicopters will land for festivities at Liberty State Park. Come and meet the flight crews, interact with military displays. There will also be performances by Navy Band Northeast, Coast Guard Silent Drill Team, and Marine Corps Band.
 
College Point Memorial Day Parade

Parade to honor service members. Military will walk in the parade that will start at address location, go down main blvd. and end in a neighborhood park.
 
Village of Hastings on the Hudson Memorial Day Parade and VFW Ceremony

12 p.m.
Military from the sea services will walk in the parade and participate in the Memorial Day Ceremony.

Military from the sea services will participate in the Memorial Day observance that pays homage to those who served in all wars.
 
Ridgewood/Glendale Memorial Day Parade
Corner of Myrtle Ave. and Cypress Ave, Glendale, NY  11385
11 a.m.
Military from the seas services will walk in the parade. Parade route: Myrtle Avenue from Ridgewood to Glendale.
 
Staten Island Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
Various Locations in Staten Island
1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Military from the sea services will participate in the Staten Island Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Day Service at the Marine Corps League Det 246.
 
United Military Veterans of Kinds County Memorial Day Parade

11 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Military from the seas services will walk in the parade. Parade route starts on 3rd Ave. & 78th Street to 101st. Street 4th Ave.
 
U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demo
In the water off Pier 86
2 to 2:30 p.m.
Coast Guard will conduct a search and rescue demonstration in the water off of Pier 86.
 
Leonard H. Hawkins American Legion Post 156 Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
City Island Ave. Park, Cemetery, 550 City Island Ave. Bronx, NY 10464
2:30 p.m.
Veterans, military, and civic groups will participate in a parade honoring those who gave their lives and complete a wreath-laying ceremony at monuments.
 
Band Concert in Bryant Park

3:30 to 5 p.m.
Navy Band Northeast and Marine Corps Ceremonial Band will perform at the upper terrace.
