Free Comic Book Day 2026 is here! This is an annual tradition since 2002 where comic book publishers print several books to give out completely free.

This year's lineup of free books includes DC and Marvel heroes, Minecraft, Star Wars, Godzilla and so many more.

See below for participating shops in NYC (shared on the Free Comic Book Day website). Note: Shops may give out different comic books / # of comics. Be sure to call ahead if you are looking for anything specific, and support these local businesses by purchasing items as well if you can.
