Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity International, presents Let’s Open the Door, a free public art installation celebrating Habitat’s 50th anniversary.

The traveling exhibit features 10 full-size doors, each representing a local artist from one of our 10 host cities. 

The doors showcase stories from local homeowners and compelling statistics from the housing sector, paired with original work by an artist in the community. Together, they weave a tapestry of what an open door truly means – in these communities and everywhere.
