Starting July 22, Herald Square is transforming into a giant interactive playground with Impulse, a free public art installation featuring eight oversized seesaws that light up and create music as you ride.
Located on Broadway between 35th and 36th Streets, the installation encourages visitors of all ages to play, collaborate, and create a unique light-and-sound experience.
Created by Montreal design firms Lateral Office and CS Design, Impulse will be open daily from 9am–9pm through August 21. Admission is free, with no tickets or reservations required—just stop by and join the fun on a first-come, first-served basis.
