From Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9, Patagonia Provisions, the line of delicious, nutritious and responsibly sourced food from Patagonia, is hosting a weekend-long summer pop-up at Patagonia Brooklyn [70 N 6th St] with a packed lineup of exclusive food and beverage collaborations, a community run, repair programming, samples and more – all benefiting their non-profit partner, Oko Farms.
Through a curated series of gatherings, Patagonia Provisions is uniting a community of food lovers and outdoor enthusiasts around the shared belief that what and how we eat can restore our home planet.
The weekend lineup includes:
August 8– 15
Happy Hour with Cafe Susanne. The weekend kicks off at Cafe Susanne, the community-centered, all-day cafe in Williamsburg from James Beard award nominated designer Matthew Maddy. Guests can enjoy a special Patagonia Provisions Bloody Mary made with vodka, smoked mussels, lemon and Cafe Susanne’s signature Bloody Mary mix, alongside a special snack made with Patagonia Provisions Lemon and Herb Mussels, preserved lemon aioli, pickled Fresno chili and parsley.
Saturday, August 8
9–11 AM: Community Run with No Bad Days Run Club. Start the weekend on the move with a 3-mile community run beginning and ending at Patagonia Brooklyn, led by No Bad Days Run Club. After the run, enjoy post-run bites including Patagonia Provisions tinned fish & N/A Golden + IPA beer, King David Tacos, parfaits from Lil
Bucks and Painterland Sisters, and coffee from NYC’s beloved Variety Coffee.
1 PM – Sold Out: Smoked Mussels Ice Cream Fudge Sundaes With Mei Liao. Stop by Patagonia Brooklyn for a special sundae created by Meijie “Mei” Liao of @daywithmei, featuring vanilla bean ice cream from Straus, the family-owned organic dairy company, topped with a rich fudge made with Patagonia Provisions smoked mussels, passionfruit sauce, sourdough cracker toffee and fried curry leaves.
Sunday, August 9
11 AM – Sold Out: Black Seed Bagel x Patagonia Provisions. Come by Sunday morning for bagel chips served with a limited-time Black Seed Bagels Olive Tapenade Anchovy Schmear made with Patagonia Provisions anchovies, lemon zest, green olives, garlic confit and cream cheese, plus matcha from Wild Orchard Tea. The special schmear will also be available at Black Seed’s Williamsburg location [214 Berry Street] Friday through Sunday for anyone who can’t make it during the pop-up window.
2–4 PM: Repair Workshop + Maximilian Baroni Bites. Round out the weekend with bites from creator Maximilian Baroni of @max.baroni featuring Patagonia Provisions, SIMPLi and produce from Oko Farms, including Patagonia Provisions mussels with SIMPLi black lentils and herbs, and marinated heirloom tomatoes with Patagonia Provisions anchovies and bread. Guests can also take part in hands-on repair programming, including creating custom Tenacious Tape patches, getting on-the-spot repairs, and sewing the signature Patagonia Brooklyn patch onto totes, tees and cotton jackets.
