On Friday, June 20, Project Sunshine is hosting a free Play-A-Thon at the Chelsea Piers Field House in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, timed to the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year.
It's a community play day with hands-on games and activities for families and kids, all while raising funds for a cause that delivers the healing power of play to children with medical needs.
Project Sunshine is the leading nonprofit delivering free play programs to pediatric patients β reaching over 150,000 kids a year across 500+ hospitals through 18,000 volunteers. Play isn't just fun; it's proven to support healing, reduce stress, and restore a sense of normalcy for kids going through some of the hardest moments of their lives.
