Seed + Mill — the first-ever sesame-based store in the U.S. — is celebrating its 10th anniversary at Chelsea Market, and they’re thanking fans with a special one-day-only treat. On Thursday, January 29, visitors who stop by to wish the team a happy birthday will receive a free mini chocolate tahini–drizzled sundae.

Known for elevating tahini long before it was trendy, Seed + Mill has spent the last decade redefining how Americans experience sesame — from silky halva and Ethiopian sourced tahini to inventive desserts Since opening at Chelsea Market in 2016, the shop has grown from a local favorite into a nationally recognized brand. To mark the milestone, the cult-favorite sesame shop is also partnering with fellow Market tenants on an exclusive collaborative menu, available during the week of January 26 (while supplies last).

Anniversary specials include: 

• Mok Bar: Hot tahini sliders made with crispy breaded chicken katsu, spicy tahini slaw, dill pickles, hot honey gochujang drizzle on a soft potato bun

• Amy’s Bread: Tahini cream cheese-frosted carrot cake cupcake

• Creamline: Tahini milkshake with halva crumble

• Miznon: Chocolate and caramelized banana trails with halva crumble

• Doughnuttery: Chocolate tahini glazed mini donuts

• Blackseed Bagels: Chocolate halva cream cheese over toasted bagel

• Berlin Currywurst: Fries with spicy tahini or chocolate tahini drizzle

• Dickson’s Farmstand Meats: Tahini roasted carrots with mint, Aleppo and pomegranate
