Synapse Art Exhibit

  • Columbia Low Library Room 207 New York, NY, 10027 United States (map)

On April 18th, Columbia's Low Library Faculty Room (207) will be transformed into an incredible art gallery featuring over 80 works from 20 brain injury survivors, including 2D artworks, photography, poetry, and film.

This exhibit represents a unique collaboration between Columbia College and Barnard undergraduates, School of the Arts MFA candidates, and the brain injury community.

By bridging the gap between clinical neuroscience and human storytelling, this gallery makes the often invisible lived realities of traumatic brain injury (TBI) visible and showcases the community's creative talent
