Moncler is celebrating its decades-long love affair with NYC through a massive public exhibition, film, and new Fifth Avenue flagship, bringing together some of the brand’s most iconic New York moments from 2010–2026.

“New York in Moncler” is a city-wide retrospective celebrating Moncler’s 20+ year relationship with New York, showcasing major fashion, cultural, and creative moments between the brand and the city.

  • Exhibition: Runs September 9–13, 2026, with large-scale photographs displayed throughout NYC and a centerpiece exhibition in Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall.

  • Film: A new film released September 3 tells the story of Moncler and New York, narrated by Alicia Keys with unreleased music.

  • Key NYC moments featured:

    • 2010: 100 models scaled scaffolding at Chelsea Piers for “A Hudson Hike.”

    • 2011: 140 dancers took over Grand Central for “A Grand Groove.”

    • 2012: A large-scale skating performance at Wollman Rink.

    • 2013: Gotham Hall was transformed into an alpine-inspired forest.

    • 2014: Hammerstein Ballroom hosted a theatrical performance, while Annie Leibovitz photographed a campaign atop the Chrysler Building.

    • 2015: “Art For Love” at the New York Public Library brought together 32 photographers for an amfAR initiative.

  • The retrospective continues through 2016–2026, highlighting collaborations and appearances involving Spike Lee, Sarah Jessica Parker, Alicia Keys, Penn Badgley, Vittoria Ceretti, Fei Fei Sun, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Tobe Nwigwe.

  • New flagship: The exhibition coincides with the launch of Moncler Fifth Avenue, described as the brand’s largest-ever global flagship, just steps from Grand Central.
