“The Wimbledon Court in Central Park” will be a four-day immersive activation June 26 – 29 which sees the Wimbledon Grounds team transform the Wollman Rink in Central Park into a playable grass court.

Over the course of the weekend, New Yorkers will get to experience the magic up-close through experiential programming, including:

• Free slots to play on the pop-up court: The chance to play on the court themselves. Apply for free tickets via the online ballot HERE.

• Exhibition match between tennis legends: On Friday 26th June at 2pm EST, Wimbledon will be hosting a mixed doubles exhibition match between top tennis legends. Apply for free tickets via the online ballot HERE.

• Quintessential British F&B: Enjoy traditional strawberries & cream, Pimm’s, and Champagne Lanson, through to scotch eggs, sausage rolls and Eton Mess from famed New York chef, Ed Szymanski.

New Yorkers will be encouraged to visit The Wimbledon Court and get involved in an array of tennis-themed activities. From free tennis clinics with coaches, to tasting Wimbledon’s traditional strawberries and cream, Pimm’s and Champagne Lanson, there is something for everyone to enjoy, both on and off the court.
