Trick or Streets 2026

For the fifth year in a row, NYC DOT is transforming Open Streets, Plazas, and other corridors into engaging, pedestrian-friendly destinations with harvest and Halloween-themed activities during the entire month of October. Programming includes interactive performances, fun activities, live entertainment, and more.

This seasonal initiative adds more pedestrian space on and leading up to one of the busiest nights of the year for NYC’s streets: Halloween!

Wednesday, October 28, 2026 | 3-7pm | Canal Street Open Street on Canal Street, Orchard Street to Essex Street | Manhattan

Saturday, October 31, 2026 | 10am-3pm | James Baldwin Plaza on Goulden Avenue, at Mosholu Parkway | Bronx
