Walmart’s Holiday Wonderland

For two days, a Greenwich Village townhouse will transform into a Walmart holiday gifting experience featuring finds curated by Cosmopolitan, ELLE Decor, and Good Housekeeping editors, along with holiday portraits, top toys, style inspiration, and hosting ideas

Walmart and Hearst Magazines are bringing holiday gift inspiration to life withWalmart’s Holiday Wonderland, a free, two-day experience curated and styled by the editors of Cosmopolitan, ELLE Decor and Good Housekeeping.

Set across more than 2,000 square feet in a restored 1850s landmark townhouse, guests can discover editor-curated Walmart finds, enjoy playful holiday experiences and shop featured products via QR code. Complimentary keepsakes and select giveaways will be available while supplies last.

Highlights include:

• A gift tree with a twist: In the foyer, a “Set the Vibe” holiday tree puts smart-home gifts to work. Guests choose a scene—from Winter Wonderland to Traditional—and watch the tree lights and digital display transform to match.

• The Cosmopolitan Lounge & Game Room: A quick color reading helps guests discover warm, cool or neutral tones, with a take-home palette card featuring trending beauty picks. A timed holiday gaming challenge adds friendly competition, with a daily leaderboard.

• The ELLE Decor Living Room: A festive fireplace setting offers complimentary holiday portraits, with Santa available Friday from 3:00–6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Guests may also choose from other holiday and winter backdrops throughout public hours. Each portrait includes a printed image in a branded sleeve and a digital version delivered by text, plus home and décor gifting inspiration.

• Good Housekeeping Toyland Play Area: Families can explore a toy-trimmed tree and hands-on play tables featuring 2026 Good Housekeeping Toy Award winners available at Walmart. An interactive reveal wall offers more shoppable gift ideas.

• Set the Holiday Table with Good Housekeeping: The kitchen and dining area spotlights editor-picked cookware, small appliances, tableware and host gifts.

Select early visitors each day will receive a surprise parting gift, while supplies last.
